CEC Complex

Christian Embassy Church is located on 36 acres in Black Jack, MO and includes two lakes. The complex consists of our newly built Sanctuary, administrative offices, and recording studio. This is only the completion of phase one of the vision that God has given our Pastor so, please check back for all of the new additions!

Our complex offers excellent opportunities to picnic, fish, bird watch, study nature, host weddings, craft shows and so much more!! The park area abounds with many different types of trees and is home to a diverse set of plants, deer, wild turkey, fox, raccoons, squirrels, rabbits, and many different types of birds. It is our mission, while providing a safe pleasant experience, that all the rules listed be adhered to at all times. Some facilities enact Special Management.

Picnic Area/Playground
In addition to jogging and walking, the picnic grounds nestled among the shade trees offer visitors a relaxing place to sit and have a snack or just time to enjoy the serene splendor of nature.

Fishing
C.E.C. provides and maintains well stocked lakes for the enjoyment of its members and friends. The lake is stocked with Bass, Channel Cat, Flat Head Cat, Grass Carp, Crappie, Bluegill, and lots of turtles. Fishing is permitted on certain days and times (see Rules and Regulations for details).

Catch and Release
Often fishing is for pleasure rather than for food on the table. Practicing catch-and-release (releasing fish immediately after they are caught) is a conservation measure that contributes to fish populations, rather than decreasing them. Following a few basic guidelines will increase the chances of a fish's survival.
Whenever possible, do not take the fish out of the water.
Filing the barbs off hooks makes removal much easier.
Never pull a hook from the fish's throat of stomach;
it is better to cut the line - many hooks will rust away.
Avoid excessive handling of fish.
If handling is necessary, make certain not to squeeze/drop fish.
Never put your fingers in the gills or eye sockets.
